This is the general class sequence for the week of October 1, 2006.
Variations are made due to the different lengths and levels of the classes.
LATERAL STANDING POSES – “YOGA” SIDE TO SIDE / FRONT TO BACK
Sukhasana with Atmanjali Mudra Hands (Namaskarasana) Meditation
Foward Virasana – Adho Mukha Svanasana – Plank Chaturanga Dandasana
Anjaneyasana and Rajakapotasana lunges/hip openers, Adho Mukha Svanasana in between
Tadasana with hands in Atmanjali Mudra/ Namaskarasana
Utthita Hasta Padasana – Parsva Hasts Padasana
Trikonasana and Utthita Parsvakonasana 2x each side, quickly
Trikonasana “anti gravity” to side, weight in back foot, rotate front leg
Tadasana
Utthita Parsvakonasana “anti gravity,” weight in back foot, rotate front leg, move block forward and down lower
Utthita Parsvakonasana with blankets to soften and release side body
Tadasana again and at wall
“Standing” (Urdhva Mukha) Sirsasana tailbone in, front ribs in, “flatten” front to back
Sirsasana, be in back body
Ustrasana, “anti gravity” at back body, tailbone in
Urdhva Dhanurasana, “anti gravity,” tailbone in, be on feet, be in back body
Salamba Sarvangasana, tailbone in, thighs back
Setu Bandha Sarvangasana on blocks, tailbone in, hard props vs soft props, thighs down
Setu Bandha Sarvangasana on blankets, feet on block, release side body to blankets
Supta Garudasana Twist to release if necessary
Savasana with legs on blankets
